Hi everyone, we are the team from London Nautical School, all aged between 12 and 14 years, 8 of us, amd really enjoying centred/ decentred! We come to a film club at BFI, about 5 minutes walk from our school. We come with our two teachers, and Mark (and later Sa-Ra) from BFI take us through this year’s programme.
We have so far done Exercises 1, 2, and 3, and are now planning our final film. We have watched clips from L’Argent, Playtime, Touch of Evil, The Player, Sunrise, and last night we watched a whole short film by Ruben Ostlund called ‘Incident by a bank’. Google it! it’s shot in one take, and keeps centring and recentring the action.
