We are 16 pupils from grade 9 and 10 (so 14-16 years old) at the Integrated Comprehensive School (IGS) Herder. Our school is located in the centre of Frankfurt, just around the corner from the zoo.
Every Tuesday we have 4 school hours time for the CCAJ project. The filmmaker Adrian Oeser is coming to our class every week to work with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the classroom, we have already watched some film excerpts, starting with a few short films by the Lumi\u00e8re brothers. In addition to film theory, we also received an introduction to a camera, which we will use to shoot the exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In October, we have been to the German Film Museum, our cultural partner, where we visited the permanent exhibition and watched a documentary in the cinema, \u00ab\u00a0One in a Million\u00a0\u00bb (Joya Thome, 2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
